Pezz, Today's Report: I fully intend to sell something today, not sure what, not sure for how much, but sell something I will.

<<the shopping cart scenario is too terrible to risk>>

... I believe fear is healthy, and panic is wise.

Asymmetric wagers, one where if you win, you are a little bit better off, and if you lose, you are toast, are pretty easy to play … make the NToeAwsBe (definitions achamchen.com ) so as to enjoy the trip towards TeoTwawKi :0)

The difficult complication is that the USD is also a chip now.

<<I still believe this small cap deluge is only temporary>>
... define 'temporary', explain 'is', and then reconsider 'only' ;0)

I think it just may be the case that the end of the script that could be 10 years away calls for monetary system collapse, defined as our money is no longer good.

Hello Pezz, Today’s Report - End of Mania and Madness: I completed the reduction of the previously unmentionable stock uk.finance.yahoo.com to a proper allocation today, 0.27% of gross asset, from a high of simply too high.

I will stay with the residual position (it would be an excellent story if the share goes up to AUD 10/shr one day:0), for old times sake, as a reminder of an adventure that started so Message 18336343 <<Dec 14, 2002>> and effectively ended so:

Message 19784816
Message 19789055
Message 19792653
Message 19797435
Message 19797640
Message 19803117
Message 19822414
Message 19837134
Message 19841089

The private placement purchase price was AUD 0.065/shr at an exchange rate of AUD:USD 1.774:1 , and the average sales price was around AUD 0.495, at an exchange rate of AUD:USD 1.283:1, netting a gain of gain of 660% in AUD terms, and 952% in USD measure. A fair return for more than a year of anxiety :0)

You, of all people, understand how difficult it is to hold tight to a micro small cap for so long at what the holder considers a big absolute number with a huge embedded capital gain. The last few weeks was very uncomfortable, and now, all is well again.

The above is in addition to this move Message 19281270 <<September 8th, 2003>>

I now close this thread Subject 53628 .

The share will likely go up in March, but I just want to be able to breathe freely and sleep soundly :0)

Hello Pezz, Last Night's Report: I wandered around Guangzhou a bit, checking out the scene, purchased a session of reflexology, then a meal of fried rice and watermelon juice.

Thus in a positive frame of mind, nourished and alert, I added 2 more dollops of QQQ LEAP Put 2006 January strike 37 at USD 5/contract, averaging up and completing the first tranche from this earlier trade:

Message 19748281
<<January 29th, 2004
… first dollop of QQQ 2006 Jan Put strike 37 @ USD 4.40/contract>>

I want to be able to be happy, always. The 2006 LEAPS is an insurance policy, strangely, for my dividend paying precious and beloved energy royalty shares Message 18909780 <<May 3rd, 2003>>, especially faithful Vermillion, the trust Spotted.Cat.KastelCo kindly highlighted but forgot to buy Message 19017336 due to caution and not having been in tune with the force :0)

Vermillion has gained much since my ownership, as well as paying out the loot month after carefree month, at a healthy and nourishing clip.

I am figuring (hoping) that, in an age of zero interest rate, folks will not be foolish enough to dump high-paying energy royalties units without also divesting themselves of zip-payout tech shares; or, put another way, energy royalty units may go down with tech shares, but tech shares may tank on its very own. Now I am getting confused again ;0)

I feel I do not know how to make money over the next few months, but am optimistically reasonably sure that I can gain over the few months after the first few months;0)

J

P.S. Vermillion, together with Canadian Oil Sands, are my largest energy royalty holdings, 2 to 3 times larger than any one of the rest of my energy royalty holdings. I really do not want to sell these precious pieces of paper.

BTW, I absolutely hate the word ‘precious’ because of the movie trilogy Lord of the Rings ;0/

Reference Vermillion:

Message 18915962 <<May 5th, 2003
… Bought Vermilin at average cost of CAD 12.62 uk.finance.yahoo.com

Message 18920723 <<May 7th, 2003
… Vermilion uk.finance.yahoo.com
I do not have any VET's annual report; I am accumulating its shares out of demented brew of greed, frenzy, love for all things Canadian, and patriotism for Tobago ;0) >>

Message 18923587 <<May 7th, 2003
… I got my limit order for (b) Vermilion uk.finance.yahoo.com executed at CAD 12.85>>

Message 18959120 <<May 20th, 2003
… Another dollop of Vermilion at CAD 12.99>>

Hello Pezz, Today's Report:
I sold Indorama Synthetic at USD 0.065/shr equivalent, a sliver of a gain to Message 19288988 <<September 9th, 2003>>, in effort to regroup.

Hello Pezz, Tonight’s Report:
I bought back previously shorted NEM June Puts strike price 37.5 at USD 1.3/contract, realizing a small profit on this trade Message 19729999 <<January 25th, 2004
… I shorted two dollops of NEM June Put 37.5 at 1.75/shr and, for good measure, again shorted one dollop of same NEM June Put 37.5 at USD 1.85/shr>>

I also shorted a whole lot of NEM September covered Call strike 42.5 at USD 4.70/contract.

Run hard, run fast, but run silent, into the darkness, away from the shouting.

Hi Pezz, Today's Report: I thanked my star.

Regarding this Message 19845829 , see this uk.finance.yahoo.com (at AUD 0.35 now, down 18% from yesterday, and 29% below my average exit price, and can go below the mid 0.20s !) and sense my sigh of relief for having dialed 1.800.GET.J.OUT in the scratch of time !

Had I not gotten in tune with the Force, done the exit trades, I would be now bummed for 2004, and psychologically set to lose more for the rest of the year.

So, again, I thank my star.

Hi Pezz, Afternoon Report: Following on to my giving thanks Message 19854277 I sold off 93% of the residual Lumacom position at AUD 0.345/shr. I figured a penny saved is a penny earned ;0)

Thus unburdened of my overweight and oversized baggage, I feel free ... Message 19775535 <<February 6th, 2004 ... I said I am afraid, as everyone and his mother have 2004 figured out already and I am flying blind, 5 feet off the ground, at 1000 kilometers an hour, through the forest, carrying over-sized and over-weight luggage>>

I am going to finish up on some work in the office and then allow myself a bit of luxury in a moment. I deserve a treat.

Hello Pezz, Today’s Report: I found more stuff to sell from my holdings.

I unloaded my two dollops of Woodside Petroleum uk.finance.yahoo.com at AUD 15.35/shr, claiming a small (7.5%) profit. Reference Message 19596639 <<December 14th, 2003>>

I am choosing to ignore all the good news and continuing to collect cold cash, warm moolah, hot money, tepid scratch, boiling change, … you get the idea.

Are you going in the same direction?

I noticed that all my coal shares uk.finance.yahoo.com , uk.finance.yahoo.com , and uk.finance.yahoo.com have all done a sudden jump as crowds rush towards them , arms outstretched, tears welling up from their eyes, all clamoring to buy, before it is too late.

I am touched by the crowds sentiment, but not enough to part with my shares until about another 25% added to current prices. Coal, it is so precious :0)

The Barron’s Effect still has magic ;0)

Hello Pezz, Today's Report: It was as if I ran into an old girlfriend, I could not resist, or perhaps a little bird whispered some sweet talk into my ear, and so I did it ...

I am once again a shareholder in that share which I left to die ... yes, Lumacom. I bought in at AUD 0.15-0.155/shr finance.yahoo.com , not so much feeling sentimental, but greedy for lucre, either that or I sensed a perturbation in the Force.

You remember Lumacom? Of course you do, it was the looting that netted a joyous 952% gain Message 19845829

My expectations this time is more modest, say something less than a double will do nicely.

Chugs, Jay
