He was hired by the Governor of Wisconsin - over the protests of the Legislature Now that the Republicans are back in charge ( regaining control after rightly being slapped into the minority by the populous screwed by the Milwaukee stadium fiasco ) this sentence should now read - over the protests of a minority of the Legislature.
