Aleta, here's some more facts: It always amazes me how, going back to the beginning of all of this, Jon Tara and Aleta Lindsay constantly defend each other. JT is a shorter; Aleta a daytrader; and I'm a Zulu long. Except the shorter and the daytrader get along; the long does not. It was ,in fact, from a series of SI postings--in yet another instance where you and Jon were defending each other--in which I made my remark: "Aleta, you really are a cracker!" Below is the sequence of my illustrious "cracker" remark. Aleta's SI Post 13618 best illustrates why I think she's flaky, distortive even and not, as HighPlainsDrifter puts it "the salt of the earth." And notice how she, herself, speculates--when she claims she doesn't--in SI Post 13620. And it's clear, Aleta, when you write, "It is a word used to describe ignorant southern white trash and has nothing to do with changing one's position or not..." (SI Post 13599) you are invoking racism. In any event, like As The World Turns (if you remember that afternoon soap) here's the accounting of my calling Aleta "a cracker." In my view, she is as flaky today as she was then. The following is as much for entertainment, as it is an effort to seek out the truth in the matter. For your reading pleasure!Message 5692620 Message 5692757 Message 5692832 Message 5695275 Message 5695408 Message 5695559 Message 5696617 Message 5698374 Message 5700545 Message 5701523 Message 5701940 Message 5703224 Message 5703473 Message 5703529 Message 5703557 Message 5703607 Message 5703664 Message 5704290 Message 5704443 Message 5704583 Message 5704606 Message 5704796 And the final, objective conclusion in the "cracker" matter comes from SI's wlcnyc. Background: Wlcnyc wrote this after Aleta had me suspended from SI because an article I posted from The Industry Standard: The Network had the term "fuck" in it. Imagine, she had me suspended for quoting intelligent material--and I even forgot to mention that!). So wlcnyc did some exhaustive research on the "cracker" incident. This pretty much tells the story.Message 5808018
