To all:
Given the deluge of posts on the merger, it could be helpful to divide the subjects. The competition between USRX and Lucent, Rockwell, Motorola for the 56k standard could deserve a dedicated thread.
Who wins on this will have a major effects on the future earnings of the new COMS resulting from the merger, if the merger will indeed be done.
Any ideas on what is going to happen to the standard for 56k? On who is going to win the time race to the market?
