Viking is a company that has developed software and an infrastructure which will allow insurance policyholders to access their policies via the internet on an interactive basis.

Policy holders can access their accounts and make changes, make coverage inquiries to see if certain procedures are covered and if so what percentage can they expect to have reimbursed from a given doctors quote, etc.

Policy holders will also be provided with comprehensive internet links to the best available private and public sites containing information concerning their particular condition. For example, someone suffering from lupus would be provided with links to the latest information concerning treatment options, the latest research, drug therapy, specialists, etc.

This software will be outsourced to the insurance industry for a fee. This business could be huge. No other insurance companies are currently using such a comprehensive and interactive service.

Viking will also provide the service to its own insurance customers. In December of this year, Viking plans to finalize financing and close its first insurance acquisition. This acquisition will manage approximately $250 million in assets. Viking plans to make 5 more similar acquisitions over time.

Within the next few weeks-

Viking should secure major financing, purchase their first insurance company, debut their internet software and infrastructure and begin fee based sales of its technology to other insurance companies.

The totally undiscovered, yet the stock started to move a few months ago. I am hoping for a large move in the near term based on the above items coming to fruition.

Anyone have any additional info about Viking or any comments?
