Siscom...

I'm starting this thread to pass on what I've learned about this company and to hear what others have to say.

Here's the short version of Siscom.

siscommedia.com

Their site gives a good overview of who & what they do.

This small company employs 13 people and several of them are among the brightest programmers anywhere.

Their product (yes they actually produce something) has been well received by the NBA, NHL and recently into some colleges. The NBA strike has hurt them some as can be seen by their January SEC filings. This alone is not the reason for their lack of profitability last quarter. It is my opinion (more below) that they need a more aggressive marketing/investor relations plan. Their quarterly SEC filing makes note that as of yet, they have not even begun to take on aggressive marketing. I'm not alone in my opinion that this company has great potential....

Picoholdings (NASDAQ: PICO) recently purchased 47% of this company through Global Equities, its' wholly owned subsidiary. Do your homework on PICO, they're usually right on.

picoholdings.com

5.2 million shares outstanding
1.5 million shares in the float

This proprietary software/hardware, in my opinion (and apparently PICO's) has great marketability and possible spin-off applications.

Their customer support has been excellent.

Three Scenarios

1. The stock crashes and burns.
2. The company, in conjunction with PICO staff, start making some serious cash on a relatively small float and WE make some money.
3. PICO buys all the stock (at a profit to investors at this level I assume) and makes it a wholly owned subsidary as they have done with other companies.

This company has talent, a product and some big name customers (NBA,NHL, and Foxsports to name a few) and has some growing pains currently. No hype here, do your own homework.

This is a real company with a real product in a great niche market with huge potential on the upside given the relatively small float and the expertise (and money) offered by PICO.

By the way, They are a FULLY REPORTING company. It won't take you long to find information on this one.

Happy Hunting....
