Individual Investor Online Message Boards to Be Featured on Infonautics' Company Sleuth
NEW YORK, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Individual Investor Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: INDI - news) and Infonautics, Inc. (Nasdaq: INFO - news) today announced that Infonautics' popular business information Web site, Company Sleuth (http://www.companysleuth.com) will feature links to the extensive message boards on Individual Investor Online (http://www.iionline.com). Company Sleuth users seeking information on particular companies will be able to view headlines from Individual Investor Online's message boards concerning those companies, and link to the Individual Investor Online site to view the messages.

Free with site registration, Company Sleuth scours the Internet for a wide range of information on companies specified by users. Users of Company Sleuth can develop a ''Stakeout'' list of companies they would like to track and then receive a daily e-mail telling them what new information was posted on the Internet over the past 24 hours about those companies. Starting in April, this e-mail will include notice of the postings on Individual Investor Online's message boards. This service from Company Sleuth has grown rapidly, recently surpassing the 100,000 registered users mark.

Individual Investor Online has quickly become one of the Internet's most popular sites for investment analysis, news and commentary, with page views increasing by more than 150% since the beginning of the year. In January, Individual Investor Online launched expanded message boards to provide its users with a community in which to share ideas concerning investments. Since the launch, message board traffic has increased dramatically, with March figures up more than 70% from February. In addition to including its content in Company Sleuth, Individual Investor Online will also provide a link to Company Sleuth from its company pages, which are viewed whenever a user of Individual Investor Online asks for information or quotes on specific companies.

''Participants on our message boards provide very interesting and useful information on specific companies as well as their own investment strategies,'' said Jonathan Steinberg, chairman and CEO of Individual Investor Group. ''Our inclusion on the Company Sleuth site will increase the exposure of this information and will draw an even larger number of knowledgeable investors to our site. By offering the best message board technology on the Web, the full resources of Individual Investor Online are only a click away and active participation from our in-house analysts, we wish to make our message boards the best forum on the Web for our community of users to share their investment intelligence.''

Individual Investor Group currently maintains a relationship with Infonautics through InsiderTrader.com, which Individual Investor Group acquired in December 1998. InsiderTrader.com provides Company Sleuth with much of its information on the insider activity of publicly-traded companies.
