G-d help me I have decided to start my first thread. I have just gotten tired of seeing the appalling treatment given to sharholders by management and directors of many companies who seemingly couldn't care less about the individual investor. In conjunction with this thread each month I will award a "Bend-Over " citation for particularly disgusting decisions made by the powers that be. The May award is given to the Board of Directors of Mattel who according to news sources generously awarded over $100MM of shareholders funds to Ms. Jill Barad as severance for a job well done. When Ms. Barad took over as CEO shares of Mattel were $29. They are now $12. She also gets to keep 6 million options. Suggests for future awards may be posted on this thread or PMed to me. We will also discuss measures to make directors a little bit more aware of out ire such as letters, resolutions for shareholders to vote upon, etc. Please share your suggestions and views and feel free to whine and vent. | ||||||||||||
