Neo-Confederates scare the hell out of me.

The link below is on the Ludwig von Mises web site (Mises.org). You can play two speeches by Mr. John V. Denson, given at Von Mises conferences. The speeches titled "Origins of War: Civil War and Word War I" and "Tricking Us Into War: The Cases of Lincoln and Roosevelt" paint Presidents Lincoln and Roosevelt as murderous war criminals. He also states that the "War for Southern Independence" had nothing to do with slavery, but was perpetrated by President Lincoln for his own political gain by tricking the South into firing the first shot. He also states that the South should've been allowed to peacefully secede.

The Von Mises Institute apparently believes that secession should be an option today.

This is an article on the Southern Poverty Law Center site that mentions the Ludwig Von Mises Institute. If you double click on their name, a page will be brought up with a description of them.
