Hi FR1, I am at the moment positioned thus: 37% Cash (mostly US$, just started changing some to Euros); 26% Bonds (mostly US$ denominated, collectively yielding above 10%); 26% Investment industrial real estate yielding positive cash at 7% on cost, no debt, bought at the onset of the Asian financial crisis, on the waterfront, next to old HK airport where a new 300k folks city will rise within a few years according to the master plan. Site now surrounded by cleared land, and subway extension will be right opposite the street within 24 months. 8% Equity (AAPTY, AMGN, AOL, AU, CHL, CMCSK, IMPAY, MSFT, NEM, SNE, SWC, and some residual round lots left over from past positions just to encourage me to read the news; no option positions at the moment; some HK shares like Hongkong & Shanghai Bank and Pacific Century (HK$ 4.8 entry price), China shares traded in HK like PetroChina, Sinopec, Phoenix TV, Citic Pacific, one China B-share and one Philippines share mentioned below).
