GWB's cronies exposed a CIA agent

There has been no substantiation of that.

I do hope you have not taken to believe all that you read in the press.

If GWB is discredited, or not [he is already discredited on WMDs and this that and the other

Are the ten or twelve Democrat house and senator members, clinton and mrs. clinton and their former staffers and cabinet types discredited because they made speeches about hussein's WMDS, voted to authorize the USA to go to war and provided the funding for the war discredited? Or do they get a free ride?

It always seems an odd entity "the nation", "my nation" and usually means, "my gang" and "my bank account". Otherwise, just what does it mean? My nation = GDP. Or My Nation = clean air per cubic metre. Or My Nation = total land area. Or My Nation = [Land area x GDP + Number of People]/Average age of people?

Maurice - it seems you have become a "one world" person. I am surprised. Nations are a necessary means for a democratic people to express their interests. As Churchill said, "democracy is a terrible system except when compared to the alternatives" or something like that.

I don't expect anyone from NZ to understand the concept of nation exactly the same way a natural born American does. They don't attend American schools so are therefore not taught about the hard fought battle for liberty and the value of democracy. It's not your fault Mq.........but understandable that you would take the easy way out and just believe in the scandalous angle the MSM prefers. Scandals....whether real or trumped up sell. They are also much more entertaining and make for much better conversation around the table at tea time.

And people not born in America almost always find the accused guilty until proven innocent. It works the other way around in America. Give it a go and see if you can grasp that concept.

So in your mind, The United States of America and Argentina are virtually indistinguishable?

I'm thinking New Zealand is a good, safe place for you.

Which reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife over dinner a few nights ago. She had made the best lamb stew I have ever eaten. The best stew of any kind, in fact, and I've eaten a lot of good stew in 48 years. We were talking about how good it was and she was talking about the difference lamb and "mutton", which she wasn't sure how to pronounce properly (she's Chinese). Anyway, in passing she made the comment that people from New Zealand eat a lot of sheep. Therefore everyone in New Zealand smells like sheep.

She also has a Chinese sense of humor, you see.

Anyway, my first thought, naturally, was of you. So I told her I actually knew someone from New Zealand that I could ask about this, since I've never really been to New Zealand to judge for myself.

So can you settle this for us? True or not true? Or is she just pulling my leg?
