On February 26, 1997 GEOASIA ENTERPRISES LTD (OTC:GOAE) announced it has signed a letter of intent to buy all the shares of Orion 2000, a company engaged in a Global Network for electronic commerce with an emphasis in banking and electronic data exchange. Orion 2000 has developed a Global Data Interchange Network called A-Net for the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP). ADFIAP has 79 member banks with over 1,000 branches that service an estimated 5.7 milion borrowers and about 15 million depositors. The Global Data Interchange Network is an electronic network intended to span over 33 Asia Pacific countries and will allow secure Electronic Commerce and Electric Banking transactions via A-Net and the Internet for AADFIAP member banks and customers.
