LOGITECH INTERNATIONAL S.A. FILES TO SELL 2,700,000 AMERICAN DEPOSITARY SHARES IN U.S.
PUBLIC OFFERING
Romanel-Sur-Morges, Switzerland - February 19, 1997 - Logitech International S.A. today
announced that it has filed a Registration Statement on Form F-1 with the United States
Securities and Exchange Commission for the sale of up to 2,700,000 American Depositary
Shares representing 270,000 Registered Shares of the Company. The Company's Registered
Shares are listed on the Swiss Exchange. On February 18, 1997, the last price paid for the
Company's Registered Shares on the Swiss Exchange was Chf 248. The Company has applied
to list the American Depositary Shares on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol
"LOGIY."
A copy of the preliminary prospectus relating to this offering can be obtained from Robertson
Stephens & Company LLC, 555 California Street, Suite 2600, San Francisco, California 94104,
or SBC Warburg Inc., 277 Park Avenue, New York, New York 10172.
Founded in 1981, Logitech designs, manufactures, and markets products that make the interface
between people and computers more intuitive and natural. Retail and OEM product offerings
include pointing devices, sheetfed and handheld scanners, control devices for computer games,
and digital video cameras. Logitech maintains operational headquarters in Fremont, California,
and regional headquarters in Romanel, Switzerland, and Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. Manufacturing
sites are located in Suzhou, China, and Hsinchu, Taiwan. Distribution centers are located in
Nijmegen, the Netherlands; Union City, California; and Hsinchu, Taiwan. In addition, the
Company maintains offices in major cities in North America, Europe and Asia.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the United States Securities
and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold
