Hi Bob,

Sure is nice to see the old SI_Admin (Bob) account in use again... <VBG>

Simple words cannot express how happy I am for you. And for me as well... Congratulations...

I know that you'll be a very busy guy over the next few days and weeks, so when the opportunity arises, send me a PM and I'll send you some ideas I have for SI (money-making ideas?) now that you own the premier name in chat room sites...

Best wishes on the venture...

Kerry

Hey Bob!

This is great news. It was about time to get rid of that info space. I hope it will also bring in more traffic...

Will it be merged with iHub? Messages (for the same boards) "mirrored" on both sites for the time being?

Good luck with it, and welcome back...!

Congratulations SI Bob!!!! And Welcome Back! Knew it had to be something earthshaking for SI to go "off the air" for as long as it did! Can't remember a time that that had happened before.

You will laugh....I got a notice TODAY at something like 3:46 PM EST that SI would be off starting at 3PM yesterday.

Amazing!

The really good news for me is that I won't have to remember both usernames and passwords at both places...<bg>

Wish you could change your mind a bit about the "news"....obviously, events of the day certainly do affect and effect the market....

Best Wishes to You and ALL of you at the New SI!!!

' ... best thing for all involved here i think, is for SI to be sold at a reasonable price to the management of iHub, and the two forums incorporated ... big revival of the old Dryer spirit would come out of that' - #reply-18651135

Full circles, nothing like 'em!

Bob, dood, you made my day. Many reasons for pebbles to be excited -- one way or the other -- about your incredible coup, but for me? The part that makes me happiest is knowing, deep down to the core, that what is here will remain here. The history of it. In all the times we talked about it all, that's the one thing I know you understand more than many -- this place holds treasures, and should never, ever, vanish.

That reminds me, please, please, could you make a decent search engine a reality?! All the way back would be lovely.

Man oh man, The History of Silicon Investor has been made, once again...

Cheers to you, Bob, awesome! Bet Brad and Jeff are proud of you!

Hi Bob,

I read this in a post you made on the "Battle of the Boards" thread last night.

Though I'm sure I've changed since doing this job, and the changes could be reflected in how I do my job, I will be striving to do it identically to how I did it before. Although I might be less secretive about suspensions and terminations.

Would you share your thinking about the reason for this proposed change?
